The historic and picturesque villages of Meigle and Ardler lie in the Vale of Strathmore on the south-east edge of Perthshire, a rural farming area between the Cairngorms and the Sidlaw Hills and just a few miles from the city of Dundee.
Meigle is one of the oldest villages in Scotland and was once an important Pictish centre, while Ardler is a 19th century planned village with stories to tell of the early industrial revolution and the coming of the railways.
Today both villages are home to vibrant communities with dedicated volunteers working hard to make a positive difference to the lives of those who live, work and visit here.
